The Founder
About the Founder
Dr. Michael Hodges is a college professor and health educator with over a decade of experience working in health, wellness, stress management, and behavior change. His work has focused on helping individuals build sustainable habits, improve their health, manage stress, and develop a better understanding of how to take care of both their physical and mental well-being.
He holds a doctorate in Curriculum & Instruction and has spent years working with students, athletes, and young professionals, helping them improve performance, manage pressure, and develop healthier routines and habits. Through this work, he saw a consistent pattern — many men are not lacking effort or motivation, they are lacking structure, guidance, and the right information.
Built Not Born was created to bring together the key areas that impact a man’s life — health, stress, emotional well-being, relationships, and direction — into one structured program that helps members improve over time.
