I built this for the man I needed when I had nothing figured out.

Building The Next 10,000
05.   Today · The Mission
Today, Built Not Born is a private membership of 2,400+ men across 34 countries, supported by six coaches, weekly calls, and a structured 12-month curriculum. The mission hasn't changed: help good men become the ones they've been promising to be.
Twelve Men. One Garage. Ninety Days.
04.   2018 · The Brotherhood
The first Built Not Born cohort met in a converted garage in Austin. Twelve men, ninety days, one simple promise: show up or get removed. Nine finished. Every one of them is still a member today.
Seven Daily Non-Negotiables
03.   2016 · The System
Sleep, lift, read, write, walk, eat clean, reach out. Simple, boring, repeatable. Within a year Marcus was down 38 pounds, had left the business, and was quietly coaching a handful of friends through the same framework.
The Morning Everything Cracked
02.   2015 · The Turning Point
On a hotel floor in Denver, Marcus wrote a list of the ten men he most respected. None of them lived like he did. That notebook became the first draft of a daily operating system — the one this entire community still runs on.
Burned Out, Out of Shape, Out of Direction
01.   2014 · The Struggle
At 31, Marcus was running a business he resented, 40 pounds overweight, drinking to sleep, and numb to the life he had actually chosen. Nothing was obviously broken — and that was the problem.

What We Stand For
06
Track It Or Lose It
What gets measured gets managed. Weight, sleep, workouts, money, attention — we track it because we take it seriously.
05
Failure Is Part Of Progress
We don't hide missed days, blown diets, or hard seasons. We log them, learn from them, and get back in the room.
04
Discipline Creates Freedom
The undisciplined life is full of small prisons: debt, distraction, regret. Discipline is the door out — every single time.
03
Community Creates Momentum
You rise to the standard of the men around you. Pick your circle carefully — and then be worthy of the seat.
02
Consistency Beats Motivation
Motivation is a mood. Consistency is a system. We build systems boring enough to survive the bad days.
01
Growth Is Earned
No one is handed the body, mind, or life they want. You trade reps for results. We show up to put in the reps, together.
